What will happen to my account balance after the closure date?

  • For convenience, customers should manually request withdrawal of all eligible funds before the closure date. 
  • Any eligible funds that are not requested to be withdrawn will automatically be paid by check sent via USPS to the address on file for your account within 14 days of site closure. 
  • The check will expire after 180 calendar days, at which time any balance associated with expired checks will be considered abandoned property and remitted to the State of Iowa in accordance with Iowa Code Chapter 556.
